Description Dominique Dumont 2017-01-04 17:23:43 UTC
Hello

A Debian user had reported :

Pan launches an external browser when clicking on a link. However, when the launch is unsuccessful, there is no feedback given to the
user. All you get is no reaction to the click. You can try this by
setting the browser command to a non-existent program.

See https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=835934

All the best
Comment 1 detlef.graef 2017-03-14 17:30:51 UTC
An error message is written to the Event Log if the browser command is not found. An error is indicated by the red symbol in the status bar (Icon for opening the Event Log).
Comment 2 Dominique Dumont 2017-03-18 16:53:07 UTC
Correct. I did not notice this error icon before. I'll notify the Debian user mentioned above and close this bug.

Thanks
