When creating a scheduled transaction from an existing transaction, the notes field is not copied into the scheduled transaction.  The newly scheduled transaction must be edited to include the notes field. 

I tested this with a liability account.

This problem has been fixed in our software repository. The fix will go into the next software release. Once that release is available, you may want to check for a software upgrade provided by your Linux distribution.

In fact notes support was completely missing from scheduled transactions. If you'd added a note on an SX template transaction it wouldn't have appeared in the created transactions.
