Description Gerco-Kees 2016-12-22 11:37:03 UTC
Sometimes the metadata of hierarchical tags is not saved correctly.
For example the file with this exifdata (edited via an external program):

Subject: People, Family, John, William
Tags List: People, People/Family, People/Family/William
Last Keyword XMP: People, People/Family, People/Family/William

(note the abscense of tags list: People/Family/John)

shows up in this tag-tree:

- John
- People
   + Family
      + John
      + William

Now, when dragging and dropping the First John tag to the family tag in
the tag tree, the metadata is not updated correctly.
This (I assume) because the tags are not merged correctly (note the tag in the tag-tree already exists). Expected Tagslist
would be:
Tags List: People, People/Family, People/Family/William, People/Family/William

Can you attach an example image, please? That would be very helpful.

Created attachment 342382 [details]

note that before dragging and dropping a tag to a lower level, this
tag has to exist on this lower level for the bug to com into effect... (see above comment)
