Was ist mit GIMP passiert?

Im "Speichern unter" Dialog kommt kein JPG mehr. Irritierender weise unter export bei den fremdformaten.
DAs kann ja nur ein fehler sein.

Ein harten und für den workflow tödlicher bruch der usabuilty.

Bitte den fehler zeitnah korrigieren.

That's still not the workflow the average user would need. It involves too many steps. Consider I just returned from vacation, and now sort through my 1.000 images. Usually, for each file I'd just press Ctrl-S at the end of edit, and switch to the next. Now you suggest I should Ctrl-E, search for and select the file, press enter, confirm replacement? Sorry, but that's inacceptable.

I see the advantage of the "new workflow" – but IMHO, that's not needed by the "average user". I'd suggest you make it at least optional and let the user select the preferred workflow. You could even have a popup when Ctrl-S "foo.jpg" fails and ask to switch to the former workflow here.

Please, don't force upon us things which might be technically great but not needed/wanted by many users who rarely use the (admittedly great) Gimp internal file format.
