>Synopsis: Panel crash on XFree startup on new 7.1 install
>Class: sw-bug
System: RH 7.1, AMD Duron 900, 256Mb, 30g, SVGALib (Banshee)

>Description:
Panel crashes on load of XFree. Panel is not displayed at all and a segfault is reported in the terminal if run from there.

The link to this site lists "libsver" as 1.2.8. May this be the cause?

I have just reinstalled 7.1 after a failed install of 7.2 (Kernel problems?? dump during interactive init).

>How-To-Repeat:
On startup of XFree, with a completely new install of RH 7.1, running "startx" from text login. No software was run from CLI explicitly before "startx".
