Description Eric Donkersloot 2016-12-08 11:06:16 UTC
Hi,

When launching gnome-documents or gnome-photos for example, my /tmp is getting filled with these kind of files:

-rw------- 1 user group 50331648 8 dec 11:56 magick-1859efvdJqSNnnXL
-rw------- 1 user group 50331648 8 dec 11:56 magick-186684-mK3g7cF4i
-rw------- 1 user group 50331648 8 dec 11:56 magick-1866HZL1d-TVEApw
-rw------- 1 user group 50331648 8 dec 11:56 magick-1866rI1pBH9lK3B8

In de kernel debug messages, this error pops up:

[ 105.610337] evince-thumbnai[1782]: segfault at 50 ip 00007ffa66183670 sp 00007ffd60565138 error 4 in liblcms2.so.2.0.8[7ffa6616b000+57000]

If I don't clean /tmp on a regular basis, the filesystem is filled up to 100% with these files which is annoying.

Please let me know if you need any additional information.

Please attach the steiger.pdf document it crashed on.
Comment 4 Eric Donkersloot 2018-04-10 14:43:35 UTC
This bug is no longer relevant which should not be surprising given the amount of time it took to formulate a response.
Comment 5 Germán Poo-Caamaño 2018-04-10 15:24:23 UTC
Bugs can be overlooked, especially when the information to reproduce it is scarce, and the work is done by volunteers in the spare time.

Anyhow, I am closing this one as obsolete as per suggested by the reporter. If you still can reproduce the issue with a newer version, please feel free to re-open it, and add the information to reproduce it.
