Description mlebek 2016-12-03 08:19:46 UTC
I cannot scroll the left menu in gstreamer/documentation. When opening a menu entry, the website shows the content of this entry in spite of staying at the current content and i only can open one entry simultaneous!
Thats really annoying.

Which browser and version on which OS are you using?
Comment 2 Mathieu Duponchelle 2016-12-03 13:36:13 UTC
Browser information would be valuable here indeed, as well as output from the web console in case there are any javascript errors popping up (ctrl + shift + I > Console on Firefox and Chrome).

Given the exact version, there are websites that allow testing a wide range of browsers, which will hopefully allow us to reproduce this, if you also find time to share a screencast of the issue to help us better understand, that would be perfect :)

Ok, it was Debian 7/Iceweasel-24.4. where these errors occured. Just tested on Win7/FF-42.0 and everything seemes fine! Thanks!

OK, so the actual issue here was that this browser disables javascript by default. I might implement a fallback for the navigation in the future, but that's really not a priority of mine tbh :) Further discussion should happen here: https://github.com/hotdoc/hotdoc/issues/78, if anybody wants to tackle that I'll be happy to give them help :)
