GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 775484
Player bar layout feels constrained, doesn't group elements, isn't consistent with Videos
Last modified: 2018-01-10 14:59:05 UTC
The padding in the player bar is quite low, which makes it feel cramped and a bit awkward. It would also help if the elements could be grouped using different levels of padding, in order to help users visually process the controls. In addition, it would be good if the player bar was consistent with the one in Videos, in order to communicate that they are both core parts of the desktop. Some visual guidance on how this could be done: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/gnome-design-team/gnome-mockups/master/content-apps/player-bar.png There are some related changes to be made in Videos - see bug 763265 for that.
