The padding in the player bar is quite low, which makes it feel cramped and a bit awkward. It would also help if the elements could be grouped using different levels of padding, in order to help users visually process the controls.

In addition, it would be good if the player bar was consistent with the one in Videos, in order to communicate that they are both core parts of the desktop.
