Description Felix Riemann 2016-11-16 17:50:14 UTC
The new gtk_menu_popup_at_* functions (and some accompanying properties) have "Stability: Unstable" in the gtk-doc comments.

Reading bug 756579 I get the impression that this was meant as a temporary measure and as gtk-3.22 is stable now I don't think they should still be marked as unstable. Also gtk_menu_popup has been flagged as deprecated and is recommending the new functions in the produced compiler warnings.
Comment 1 Matthias Clasen 2016-11-17 11:00:37 UTC
the stability depends on the underlying wayland protocol being declared stable

Does this refer to the zxdg_*_v6 symbols?
Comment 4 Daniel Boles 2017-08-06 11:37:37 UTC
Anyway, Wayland is not the only compositor around, so it's maybe not ideal to put Unstable on the GTK+ symbols only for this, instead of e.g. just saying in our docs that the results on different compositors/WMs may vary or something.
