popup box that should not appear when reconciling

First appeared in release 2.6.14 in Windows 10. When opening a reconciliation for a liability (credit card) account, a pop-up appears that looks like it might be the Enter Interest Charge pop-up, which I have never used before, and I don't want to start now.

there is no help for this window, and it appears too complicated for a simple interest charge. I am attaching a screen shot.

I can cancel it, but it should not have appeared in the first place.

Maybe this is a reincarnation of bug 398779, but there is no crash this time.

Update: Regarding the difficulty replicating this abnormal behavior, it seems to be limited to occurring only on one credit card account in my data file, or at least a few other credit card accounts do reconcile normally without that pop-up automatically appearing when starting the reconcile. However, it is still occurring for one particular account. That is an old account which goes back several years with reconciles working correctly before.
Opening backups as far back as last June with GnuCash 2.6.14 in Windows 10 I see the same spurious pop-up on starting a reconcile in only that one account.

Opening a backup from June 8, 2016 of the same file from a Linux machine using GnuCash 2.6.11 gives the same spurious pop-up only on reconciling for May 14 for that one account. I do not know why I did not notice the pop-up when I did the June Reconcile sometime later.

Opening a backup from April 1,2016 with GnuCash 2.6.11 in Linux and reconciling that account did not cause the spurious pop-up.

The account settings appear to be normal for credit cards, and are the same as for other credit cards.

So, it appears that something happened between April 1 and June 8, 2016. I was using GnuCash on a different Windows computer then which has since gone belly-up, so I am not sure which version of GnuCash I was using then.

There are some check boxes on the Register tab of Preferences under "Reconciling". Two of them are "Automatic Interest Transfer" and "Automatic Credit Card Payment". Are either of them checked and if so does unchecking them prevent the dialog from appearing?

I found this bug searching for an open bug for a similar problem. I was using the latest development version (2.7.3) without any problems. I was reconciling an account for the first time and a similar interest window kept popping up for me. Would not happen for any other account other than this one. Not sure why it started. It started appearing the first time I tried reconciling this account with the development version. My issue is that GnuCash would CRASH almost every time that window popped up. I reinstalled a stable version (2.6.19) and had the same window open when I would start the reconciliation. Good news is that GnuCash didn't crash. This gave me time to study the window and I noticed a "No Auto Interest Payments For This Account" button at the bottom of the window, which is similar to the "No Auto Interest Charges For This Account" button in David Carlson's attachment. Press that and the window will stop opening when you try to reconcile the account. Again, I have no idea why that started in the first place. At least I could stop it by pressing that button.
