When using the Piwigo publishing feature of Shotwell, if you target an existing album, the Publish button is clickable, but as soon as you tell shotwell to create a new Piwigo (sub)album instead, the Publish button becomes insensitive... which is nonsense. I hacked that button back to being sensitive/clickabe using the GTK Inspector and it uploaded *fine*.

there was a report about that on the ml as well which I could not reproduce, which piwigo version are you using=?

That is Piwigo 2.8.1 (though I don't see any mention of such an issue in the release notes for Piwigo 2.8.2)
