GDM icon border and padding

Hi,

I find that the border around the user icon in the login-screen is too "strong" in some cases.

It works very well with the default icon, but if the user set a custom icon it may not.

For example I have a rounded icon and it looks unpleasant. Look at the attached screenshot. A subtler border may look better.

Adding some padding may help too, but maybe this does not work well with square filled icons? What do you think?

I know I can work around the padding issue by adding a margin in the icon itself, but I wanted to see what you thought about having it in the icon style instead.

Thanks,
   Antonio

Having a rounded mask for the user icon, as proposed in https://blogs.gnome.org/aday/2018/05/09/redesigning-the-lock-screen/ will also address this.

Not sure is gnome-shell issues have been migrated to gitlab yet, I could not find this one, but I just wanted to report that latest changes to the login screen fix the problem described in the original report. Thanks!
