GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 772085
[PATCH] Hide uninstall button for system extensions
Last modified: 2016-12-27 10:23:23 UTC
Created attachment 336386 [details] [review] Proposed patch Currently "uninstall" button is displayed for every installed extension regardless of it type - per-user or system. This change removes "uninstall" button for system extensions and adds a note to every system extension to explicitly indicate it's type.

An alternative would be to display a disabled remove button which shows a tooltip when hovered, explaining and suggesting to look for the "gnome-shell-extensions" package.
