GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 772008
Name appears as "gnome-tweak-tool" in activities overview and other locations
Last modified: 2016-10-05 14:01:50 UTC
Open "Tweak Tool" app and access the activities overview. Expected: It should appear as "Tweak Tool" (and the correct name for other languages). Actual: The label is appearing as "gnome-tweak-tool". Aesthetically speaking all applications must show their correct name and not the name of its executable file. I've seen more apps with this behavior.
Is this bug 768435 similar to what I reported here or is it something different? If so, why the issue still persist?
It works fine here. Can you attach a screenshot? Which distribution is this?
Created attachment 336958 [details] It contains a zip file with two screenshots (In reply to Rui Matos from comment #2) > It works fine here. Can you attach a screenshot? Which distribution is this? I'm using Gnome 3.20.2 under Fedora 24, the attached zip file contains two screenshots, one in activities overview and the other using Window List Extension.

Because apparently you're using an older version. (In reply to Ricardo Ramos from comment #3) > I'm using Gnome 3.20.2 Right, you shouldn't have flagged this bug report for version 3.22.x then. In short, it will be fixed when you update. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 768435 ***
