Description Daniel Boles 2016-09-25 18:02:07 UTC
Currently, this text is massively informative... but not copyable at all. So if I wanted to add info to another ticket about how we could add theming to some widget in a complex hierarchy - I'd have to manually type it all out again!

Making the text copyable would alleviate this and make the CSS Selector section far more useful. At the moment, it just looks nice, and that's about all.

(As a side note, there's no 3.22 option in the Version box here. I don't know if that can be remedied generally or whether it requires adding per-product.)

I've added the version
Comment 2 Daniel Boles 2016-09-26 15:38:02 UTC
Cool, thanks for that.

Having glanced briefly at the relevant ui/c files, my guess is this is not directly possible (i.e. selecting text from a cell renderer), so currently this functionality would require something else, e.g. a button to generate the text and put it in the clipboard.

Assuming that sounds reasonable, once I get a chance, I'll see if this looks like something I can figure out.
