GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 771535
very little contrast between background and collections
Last modified: 2016-11-29 20:48:48 UTC
Created attachment 335705 [details] screenshot It makes it very hard to identify collections, because it's barley visible.
Here is a color proposal. https://raw.githubusercontent.com/gnome-design-team/gnome-mockups/master/documents/colors.png The background color is the same as in GNOME Software and GNOME Music. The boxes would be white, so that light objects rest on a darker background, same as most documents themselves in the Documents view.
Pushed a fix to master for this based on your latest mockups.
Just tested master, and it seems the width of the gray border is 2px and not 1px. The border color is quite close in color, but seems to be #a7aba7 instead of #bdbdbd Should I open a separate bug about the background color being different from GNOME Music? Or did I file one already? Hope it's not too much nitpicking :)
