GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 771262
opusenc: misleading description in audio-type property
Last modified: 2016-09-20 15:32:29 UTC
Created attachment 335320 [details] [review] Patch that aligns property description to match one from Opus' docs Currently opusenc has an audio-type property, with description "What type of audio to optimize for". It is misleading, as according to the Opus docs, this parameter rather instructs the encoder intended application ("Configures the encoder's intended application. ") There's a separate CTL for setting what type of audio encoder should optimize for, see bug #771261. The attached patch aligns property description to match one from Opus' docs.
Comment on attachment 335320 [details] [review] Patch that aligns property description to match one from Opus' docs actually, I see tpm may want this done differently from a comment in https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=771261, back to unreviewed
Let's merge the bugs and discuss in bug #771261 then. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 771261 ***
