Description Jeremy Bicha 2016-09-10 22:34:22 UTC
grilo-plugins 0.3.3 and totem 3.21.91-0ubuntu2 on Ubuntu GNOME 16.10 Beta. Also confirmed with Fedora 24.

The Guardian channel in the totem Videos app doesn't work. Clicking one of the listed videos results in this popup error:

The playlist __ could not be parsed. It might be damaged.

Thanks for taking time to report this issue.

Could you please attach debug info? You can run totem by command line with grilo debug options enable:

GRL_DEBUG=*:* totem

Thanks

The problem is libquvi's script not working any more:
$ quvi dump https://www.theguardian.com/film/video/2015/jan/15/whiplash-jk-simmons-damien-chazelle-video-interview
error: libquvi: while parsing media properties: /usr/share/libquvi-scripts/0.9/media/guardian.lua:83: no match: media stream URL
