Description Jeremy Bicha 2016-09-10 22:26:53 UTC
grilo-plugins 0.3.3 and totem 3.21.91-0ubuntu2 on Ubuntu GNOME 16.10 Beta

The Euronews channel in the totem Videos app doesn't work.

"An error occurred. The movie could not be read."
Comment 1 Jeremy Bicha 2016-09-10 22:32:12 UTC
When I tried in Fedora, it said I need an rtmp plugin but at least with the regular Fedora repositories, GNOME Software was unable to find an rtmp plugin.

Thanks for taking time to report this issue.

Could you please attach debug info? You can run totem by command line with grilo debug options enable:

GRL_DEBUG=*:* totem

Thanks

Here's a log but it doesn't look very useful to me. Did you check whether Euronews works for you today?
Comment 4 Bastien Nocera 2016-09-12 13:12:22 UTC
It's been broken for a while, apparently a couple of months after it was implemented.

This looks like the fix:

Comment 5 Sebastien Bacher 2017-09-18 11:34:17 UTC
the plugin seems to be still not working, it displays no error but doesn't list any video either
