Description burningsmile10 2016-09-01 03:10:35 UTC
Gnome 3 overrides the nvidia x server settings upon every booth both my 144hz screens get set back to 60. I have found this to the be an issue with Gnome as it does not happen on KDE.

Solution could be as simple as just adding a refresh rate selector in the display settings like what KDE plasma has.

Thanks.

System info incase you need it.

I did a clean install of Ubuntu gnome 16.04.1 then added the ppa's for gnome then force upgraded it to 3.20. Problem is now fixed. Thank you for adding that feature into the latest addition of gnome 3.20.

Thanks!
