Description gnome.vrb 2016-08-25 18:57:38 UTC
Currently rhythmbox allows deletion ( with [ - ] button ) of the following items in the side pane:

1. Play Queue
2. Last.fm and Libre.fm ( My Library, My Recommendations, My Neighbourhood, Rhythmbox Group Radio )
3. Default smart playlists ( My Top Rated, Recently added, Recently played )

For [3], the user might have mistakenly clicked [ - ], and deleted one of the default smart playlists, and they are not restored after "Rhythmbox" restart.
Comment 1 Jonathan Matthew 2016-08-25 21:42:54 UTC
The play queue should not allow itself to be deleted (commit 1b69c9b fixes that). The other things are fine. There's no reason you shouldn't be able to delete last.fm radio sources, and the example playlist are just there as examples. If you delete them and find that you want them back, it's not hard to create them again.

Even if rhythmbox allows deletion, it should at-least prompt the user for confirmation before proceeding. It can be covered in a separate bug though.
