Description rockorequin 2016-08-24 08:32:26 UTC
If you try and rename a file on the desktop and there is a nearby 'always on-top' window, at least part of the file rename window hides under the 'always on-top' window and makes it difficult to use - and of course, you can't move the file rename dialog.

This can happen with the Unity launcher, for instance - see the image at https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/1615866 for an example.

It would be better if either you could move the rename dialog, or it ensured it was on top of other windows.

Thanks for the bug report. This is no longer reproducible starting with version 3.28. Closing.
