Description Nrbrtx 2016-08-20 18:03:52 UTC
Steps to reproduce:
1. Launch dconf-editor from Ubuntu 16.04.1 LTS (dconf-editor version 3.18.2).
2. Try to Search some text
3. Click Next several times to reach last item.
4. Try to Search another text - it will not be found.

Expected behavior:
When reached last entry in the elements tree the cursor (selection) is moved to its start. So user can search text in wrap-around (circular, looped search) mode.

Actual behavior:
User is unable to find anything if the last entry is reached.

Thanks for reporting the bug. There won't be any “major” change (more than a one-liner), like this one, in the 3.18 release. The search still needs a complete rework in the 3.22 upcoming release (for now 3.21.90), but that will probably happen in the 3.24 cycle (to ne released next year). I’ll keep one bug only for that important goal, so I’m closing as duplicate.
