X, HiDpi: The mouse cursor is not scaled when hovering over the chrome
Last modified: 2016-08-29 08:57:44 UTC
When running the X session on a HiDpi laptop, the mouse cursor becomes tiny whenever I am hovering over the gnome-shell chrome (eg., top bar, menus). It is fine when it is over the wallpaper or over a gtk+ application. The Wayland session doesn't suffer from this problem. I have: gnome-shell-3.20.3-3.fc24 mutter-3.20.3-1.fc24 gnome-settings-daemon-3.20.1-3.fc24

The scaling starts to work once I launch an application from the dash or the application chooser with the mouse. Merely toggling the gnome-shell overview doesn't fix it.
