GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 76955
Internal objects should be documented
Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
Internal objects should have some documentation so that causual gimp hackers can make changes faster. There wouldn't have to be a lot of documentation, so the time it takes to maintain the documentation would be minimized.
Marked as depending on bug #5746
Changes at the request of Dave Neary on the developer mailing list. I am changing many of the bugzilla reports that have not specified a target milestone to Future milestone. Hope that is acceptable.
I'd be all for that myself, but alas, not likely to happen and not all that important as release critieria.
There is now a first draft of documentation for the GIMP internals in CVS: 2003-08-09 Sven Neumann <sven@gimp.org> * Makefile.am * app: added a first version of docs for the application. The templates are not yet in CVS and it's not built by default (and probably never will be).
The API documentation of the GIMP internals has been kept uptodate and improved for a couple of months now. I think we can assume this request to be handled.
