I have a font[1] which doesn't contain any characters which "The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog". What I see is an empty window when I try to view the font which at first led me to think there was a problem loading the font. It was because i opened the font in fontforge that i realized what the reason to that was.

Perhaps the font viewer could detect which characters the font implement and show those?

Thanks for the report, I just pushed a commit to master to fix this case and the one from the duplicate.
