Description pliszka 2002-03-29 09:21:32 UTC
Hi!

Could you add seconds to the clock applet? Also could you add
option for setting background in the same way the background for panel is set?

I use standard clock and it is not present on components list..

BR,

Jacek

The first part of this bug is a dupe of bug 75108. The second request
to have an option to set the clock background to a background
different from the panel is a feature request. Adding gnome2 keyword,
and changing title to reflect my comments.

What do you mean by background?
If you want clock with different background than panel, then no --
such option won't be added in any way.

However, setting background color of panel does not change color of
clock to be the same as of panel. This does not work, so OK -- it's a bug.
Comment 3 pliszka 2002-04-06 22:46:44 UTC
Yes. When I change panel color the clock color remains. This is a bug.
Comment 4 Dave Bordoley [Not Reading Bug Mail] 2002-04-07 22:56:43 UTC
I'm going to change the title from "Should be able to change
background of the clock" to "clock should inherit background from the
panel" for clarity sake.

Seems to work well now. Except for the border which remains grey. See
bug #79595.
I mark the bug fixed because what's not fixed is duplicate of #79595.
