Description jeremy9856 2016-07-16 11:18:25 UTC
I don't know who is the culprit, Chrome, Flash, Spotify, Gnome but my screen doesn't always turn off when Chrome play Spotify web player. Is there a way to know what prevent the screen to turn off ?

Thanks !

The culprit is anything but GNOME. It's an application problem, whether or not Chrome allows plugins to inhibit the screensaver is not something I'm interested in investigating.

The thing is that with Chrome, Flash, Deezer (instead of Spotify and Deezer use flash too) and Gnome the problem doesn't occur. It's unlikely to be a Gnome bug but how can I be sure ? Is there a way to know what prevent the screen to turn off ?

Maybe you will be interested in investigating this by the way ?
