Description Chris Mounce 2016-07-13 00:49:43 UTC
Start gnome-sudoku. Choose a puzzle difficulty, e.g., Medium. Take a screenshot of the puzzle. Quit gnome-sudoku.

Start gnome-sudoku again. Choose the same difficulty as before. Compare with screenshot: it has generated the same puzzle as before!

This seems to be an issue with the random number generator not being seeded, as reported a few weeks ago on the Debian bugtracker: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=828106

Interesting timing; I fixed this yesterday. Thanks for reporting it though!
