On gnome 3.18 polari used to auto scroll a chat window when too many people was typing at once, but now on polari 3.20.2 auto scroll doesn't work anymore, after some lines it stops auto scrolling so I have use the vertical scroll bar to go to the bottom of the latest lines of text over and over.
