The output of journalctl -ab

Today I decided to test the Wayland session that is available in Fedora 24.

Unfortunately the desktop could not load, all I could see was the gray background that appears in the very beginning when Gnome starts loading and the mouse cursor.

After these components appeared on video, the UI froze completely.
Pressing Ctrl + Alt + F{1,2,3,4,5,6} had no visible effect.
Pressing the power button had the computer to shut down (this allowed me to unlock the system without hard-reseting it)

My laptop is a Dell Latitude E6520 featuring the Optimus Technology.
I'm not using proprietary drivers, only open source ones.

It's probably the same as bug 768308.
Comment 4 GNOME Infrastructure Team 2021-07-05 13:52:00 UTC
GNOME is going to shut down bugzilla.gnome.org in favor of gitlab.gnome.org.
As part of that, we are mass-closing older open tickets in bugzilla.gnome.org
which have not seen updates for a longer time (resources are unfortunately
quite limited so not every ticket can get handled).

If you can still reproduce the situation described in this ticket in a recent
and supported software version, then please follow
  https://wiki.gnome.org/GettingInTouch/BugReportingGuidelines
and create a new ticket at
  https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/mutter/-/issues/

Thank you for your understanding and your help.
