Attached are screenshots for two buttons when they have the focus.  The first two screenshots are in the normal Adwaita; the other two are in Hight Contarast mode.

Note how the Open button (which is the default) doesn't get a focus rectangle in Hight Contrast mode.  Maybe it *is* being drawn as black-on-black?

(... also, the focus rectangles could be more prominent in High Contrast in general, I think.)
