Description Artyom Zorin 2016-05-26 16:30:42 UTC
Add a symbolic icon that denotes an Application Menu in the header bar of an application window when the application icon is not being used in the app menu button. This would appear after the Application Menu has been moved from the Top Bar in GNOME Shell to the header bar in the application window (by switching the Tweak Tool > Top Bar > Show Application Menu option off for example).

This bug entry is connected to the following bug filing about using the "application-menu-symbolic" icon as the fallback icon for the application menu button in an application window's header bar: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=766915

bugzilla.gnome.org is being replaced by gitlab.gnome.org. We are closing all older bug reports and feature requests in GNOME Bugzilla which have not seen updates for a while.

If you still use adwaita-icon-theme and if you still see this bug / want this feature in a recent and currently supported version, then please feel free to report it at
https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/adwaita-icon-theme/-/issues/
by following the guidelines at
https://wiki.gnome.org/Community/GettingInTouch/BugReportingGuidelines

Thank you for creating this report and we are sorry it could not be implemented so far (volunteer workforce and time is limited).
