GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 766792
Dissapearing text and icons in gnome after waking up from sleep
Last modified: 2016-05-23 12:51:43 UTC
Icons, and things in the dropdown settings sometime disappear, (see screenshots) : http://imgur.com/a/EPoYU This happens after waking up from sleep and can be temporarily fixed by pressing alt+f2 and typing r Sometimes random letters also dissapear after waking from sleep so that for example the word restarting looks like t i . I use the official ubuntu gnome ppa, that updates some of the gnome software to newer versions, but it also happens without the ppa, and it also happened on fedora 23 and ubuntu 15.10.
