Description alv2412 2016-05-20 09:04:13 UTC
When activating a connection with non-saved passwords using the --ask option, the password gets printed in cleartext instead of beeing masked.

Sample:

nmcli --ask connection up CompanyVPN
Password (vpn.secrets.Xauth password): myPassword <= This should not be visible!

Additional info:

nmcli --version
nmcli tool, version 1.0.12-2.fc23
