i like the scissors very much, and the lasso could profit of it. With the scissors I'm able to define the selection mode ( additive or subtractive, ect.)  at the end when i go to close the loop - and not already from the beginning.

YES. Its so irrilevant what selection mode you pick at the beginning, you have to trace the selection points anyway - and deciding the mode at the end feels much more natural in the sequence than to fix everything right from the beginning.
