GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 765971
openconnect network manager config file can't read "/" in gateway address
Last modified: 2020-11-12 14:27:08 UTC
When gateway address contains slash (like: sslvpn.organization.com/group) network manager GUI does not read anything beyond the "/". It works just fine when trying to connect directly through openconnect: openconnect sslvpn.organization.com/group Arch Linux 4.5.1-1-ARCH x86_64 GNU/Linux extra/networkmanager 1.2.0-3 extra/networkmanager-openconnect 1.2.0-1 Ubuntu 14.04 3.16.0-60-generic x86_64 GNU/Linux network-manager 0.9.8.8-0ubuntu7.2 network-manager-openconnect 0.9.8.0-1ubuntu2
Hm, I just tested here on Fedora 24 and it works fine. I enter a URL like https://example.com/bar in the configuration, and watch it connect, and the 'Log' textbox shows that it's really fetching that URL. Which is unsurprising because it's done that for as long as I can remember. Can you paste the contents of that box?
Can you export and attach connection. Thanks.
I am running into this problem. It seems that is does do a GET for the servername/xxx, but then issues a getaddrinfo failed for host 'servername': Name or service not known. This is on a RHEL 7.3 system. NetworkManager-openconnect Version 1.2.4 Release 3.el7.3 Is there any status on this problem?
bugzilla.gnome.org is being shut down in favor of a GitLab instance. We are closing all old bug reports and feature requests in GNOME Bugzilla which have not seen updates for a long time. If you still use NetworkManager and if you still see this bug / want this feature in a recent and supported version of NetworkManager, then please feel free to report it at https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/NetworkManager/NetworkManager/-/issues/ Thank you for creating this report and we are sorry it could not be implemented (workforce and time is unfortunately limited).
