Description stefan 2016-05-02 12:05:29 UTC
Description:

/usr/bin/gnome-terminal --geometry=UxW+X+Y

--geometry does not work anymore in GNOME Terminal 3.20.1, 4.5.1-1-ARCH

I guess the same will happen on other linux flavours as soon they update
to 3.20.x

A lot of people here including customers are pissed off, because startup scripts are not working anymore after update to 3.20.x

I cannot fathom why you would you would remove such a very useful
functionality of the gnome terminal.

Could you please reintroduce this functionality again???!!!!

@reporter: Do follow the bug reporting guidelines [https://wiki.gnome.org/Apps/Terminal/ReportingBugs] when reporting bugs, esp. wrt. following *bugzilla etiquette*, and searching for already-existing bugs first.
