Description Jean-François Fortin Tam 2016-04-26 01:22:07 UTC
Set up a folder named "foo" with a bunch of image files in it, and create a subfolder named "bar" in "foo".

Delete half of the image files in foo. They are now in the trash.

Go into the trashcan, cut those files (ctrl+X) and try pasting them into the subfolder "bar".

Result: they get pasted into parent folder "foo".

I've seen this behaviour, but can no longer reproduce it using Nautilus 3.20.2 and gvfs 1.28.3.
Is it still a problem with Gnome Shell 3.20?

Indeed, this was fixed in another duplicate.
