Illustration of the issue

Issue appears on Ubuntu 16.04 (librsvg 2.40.13-3) and didn't on previous version (not sure of the librsvg version). It has been reported on Launchpad (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/librsvg/+bug/1574186) but seems to be an upstream bug.

I'm using Mate but the issue is likely independant of the DE.

When displaying the applications-development.svg icon (from categories), either in Caja (Nautilus fork) or the Applications menu, the silver part is black instead of the normal appearance. It only appears with sizes 16, 22, 24 & 32; sizes 48, 64 & 128 appear fine.

I attach a montage that shows the black-ish icons.
