In the old Ubuntu Software Center (as GNOME Software has replaced that in the new Ubuntu version 16.04) there was a very useful feature which meant that in the "Installed" apps section the apps were grouped into different categories which could be expanded and re-collapsed. This is a feature I miss in GNOME Software and think that at least apps should be grouped into these different categories and that there should be some sort of title like this "------- CATEGORY TITLE -------" separating the different sections and maybe a list of the titles down to one side or which can be summoned by pressing a button so that one can easily jump to different sections by clicking the different titles in the list (like a jump-menu on a website).

I initially suggested this feature here but thought I should also do so upstream: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-software/+bug/1574387
