I'm pretty sure this works on X11, but it seems broken on Wayland.
This is just a problem with the webview, other widgets (like the search text entry) work properly.
WebkitGtk bug?

Definitely a webkitgtk bug as we don't do anything special with it.  Could you file a bug report on bugs.webkit.org?
