Description zilla 2016-04-11 18:47:53 UTC
I'm on a current arch system with a brand new gnome 3.20 from the official repos.

If I go to the gnome sharing pane under settings and turn on media sharing gnome immediately crashes and I'm greeted by gdm.

If someone tells me where to check for logs I will happily do so.

Starting rygel from the command line is ok. Output looks like this:

Comment 2 Jens Georg 2016-04-12 10:28:11 UTC
For me this looks like an issue with the CC's sharing module. If Rygel is causing this, please assign back.

Thanks for taking the time to report this.
Without a stack trace from the crash it's very hard to determine what caused it.
Can you get us a stack trace? Please see https://wiki.gnome.org/Community/GettingInTouch/Bugzilla/GettingTraces for more information on how to do so. When pasting a stack trace in this bug report, please reset the status of this bug report from NEEDINFO to its previous status. Thanks in advance!

With the latest update to 3.20.1 the issue seems resolved. No more crashes.

Resolved and fixed is okay as status?
