Description Parag AN 2016-04-08 05:56:20 UTC
We got a bug report https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1324995
Comment 1 Parag AN 2016-04-08 05:59:11 UTC
well I tried to copy the text from downstream bug here in above comment but was alaways getting 500 error. Hence, I removed it and just put single line above and it worked!! This bug got reported.

Anyways, as reported there are 2 issues
1) Fix PyGIWarning warnings in preferences_window.py
2) fix print statement syntax for python3 in caribou-preferences.in and antler-preferences.in

Are you sure this patch is working?

Shouldn't you "import gi" explicitly before calling require_version()?
Comment 6 Parag AN 2016-06-15 05:31:02 UTC
Yes you are right. When I installed fresh Fedora 24, I too find this. Not sure what went wrong last time when I submitted patch that I missed "import gi".
Comment 7 Parag AN 2016-06-16 06:04:22 UTC
Daiki,

Can you please apply patch given in above comment#4?
Comment 8 André Klapper 2021-05-25 17:45:58 UTC
GNOME is going to shut down bugzilla.gnome.org in favor of gitlab.gnome.org.
As part of that, we are mass-closing older open tickets in bugzilla.gnome.org
which have not seen updates for a longer time (resources are unfortunately
quite limited so not every ticket can get handled).

If you can still reproduce the situation described in this ticket in a recent
and supported software version, then please follow
  https://wiki.gnome.org/GettingInTouch/BugReportingGuidelines
and create a new enhancement request ticket at
  https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/caribou/-/issues/

Thank you for your understanding and your help.
