See bug #752802 (and probably others) where we could've made use of knowing the uncropped width/height.

A safer way is to use the cropping rectangle present on every AVFrame https://ffmpeg.org/doxygen/3.4/structAVFrame.html

Also this means all the edge-related properties/code are deprecated in favor of that now.
