GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 764513
possibility to run in the background
Last modified: 2016-04-04 09:21:42 UTC
I noticed that Geary has a nifty feature - it can be run on the background, and whenever new mail arrives in your inbox you can open the application by clicking the notification that pops up. This unclutters the desktop. This would be a very useful feature in evolution, especially with the general redesign notifications in GNOME.
Thanks for a bug report. Evolution doesn't provide this functionality, it relies on 3rd party vendors like AllTray or similar to do it.
