Description Britt Yazel 2016-03-31 21:07:03 UTC
As of Gnome-Software 3.20.0, adding applications to app-folders is completely non-functional.

What I mean is that when I am browsing under "Installed:
1) I click the check-box icon
2) check an app that I want in a folder
3) choose the proper folder when the dialog opens
4) click "add" in the upper right hand corner of the dialog
5) and then nothing happens...

After going through this process the application is not assigned to a specific app-folder and the blue bar asking me to "click on items to select them" is still shown.

This is not how it worked in 3.18.x when this process worked perfectly.

I am on Archlinux x64.

Broken on 3.20.1 as well.

I can confirm the issue. Arch Linux x86-64
Comment 3 Philipp Wolfer 2016-05-12 07:59:19 UTC
I can confirm this behavior. Both adding an app to a folder and moving an app from one folder to another are broken. There is no error and no feedback, it just does nothing. There is also no output in the journal.

Also on Arch Linux, gnome-software 3.20
