Description André Klapper 2016-03-17 11:21:38 UTC
I do not know why I am suddenly listed as admin of https://mail.gnome.org/mailman/admindb/i18n-coordination-list - maybe I've always been but now that I suddenly get daily "moderator request(s) waiting" emails I realized.
In any case I don't have the password either and it would be nice to stop that.

Anybody who could reply?
I'm tired of getting spammed by this.
Comment 2 Andrea Veri 2016-05-16 08:03:05 UTC
The list appears to have no archives at all, do you recall when it was originally created? does it make sense to close it down as it appears to have no legitimate traffic? is the list used at all?
Comment 3 André Klapper 2016-05-30 14:56:42 UTC
The mailing list was created in May 2010. (Last message was in October 2014.)
See the last bullet point on https://wiki.gnome.org/TranslationProject/CoordinationTeam for its reason.
I'd leave the decision whether it's still needed to its members.

Personally I'd just like to not get a daily email anymore about pending requests which I cannot fix as I do not have any password.
Comment 4 Andrea Veri 2016-06-03 16:12:56 UTC
Ah I see, at [1] archiving is turned off, so next question for me would be do we still want to keep the list up and running or not?

CCing Claude and Alexandre.

Comment 6 Claude Paroz 2016-06-03 16:57:40 UTC
It is fine to remove that list for me.
Comment 7 André Klapper 2016-06-03 17:57:57 UTC
I don't really think it's needed anymore either...
Comment 8 Alexandre Franke 2016-06-03 23:16:58 UTC
Fine by me too.
Comment 9 Andrea Veri 2016-06-06 07:59:26 UTC
List has been disabled.
