I'm on Archlinux with GNOME 3.18 and gnome-shell 3.18.4. Today, I logged into my account and opened a few windows. When I want to switch windows with Alt+Tab nothing happens. Neither does the window switcher show up, nor is the window switched.

I don't know where to get details about this error. I fear when I log out, the issue will be gone. I experienced this issue a few times in the past. What information do you need and where can I get it?

Check the journal (journalctl -b) for messages

The journal reveals something about this error, see attachment. It seems I hit Alt+Tab two times at 09:16:31. I hit it other times as well, the error messages don't look different there. The localized message "Ungültige Bytefolge in Konvertierungseingabe" means "Invalid byte sequence in conversion input".
