Description Michael Gratton 2016-03-03 04:18:23 UTC
In gnome-terminal 3.19.90, I cannot select text under certain circumstances. When this happens, as I drag the cursor or double click on a word, the text is highlighted but upon release the highlight disappears, rather than remaining selected.

This is annoying because it means I can't copy text to the clipboard from the terminal.

It seems to happen in the least-recently-selected tab only. For example, after opening a new window, the problem immediately occurs. Then after opening a new tab, I can select select text in that tab, and returning to the first tab also there, but if I return to the second tab I can no longer select text there.

This is under X with GTK+ 3.19.10, haven't tried under Wayland.
